Advantech launched the AMAX IoT Control Platform, which integrated PLCs, HMIs, and IoT functionalities into a single software-defined environment, using EtherCAT and real-time operating systems for microsecond-level precision. The platform was built on the CODESYS framework and included AMAX Studio for device configuration, program development, and diagnostics.

Rigetti Computing announced a milestone with its modular 36-qubit quantum system achieving 99.5% median two-qubit gate fidelity. The modular system comprised four 9-qubit chips tiled together, and the 36-qubit system was set for launch on August 15, with an aim to deliver a 100+ qubit version before the end of 2025 at the same median two-qubit gate fidelity.

MLGW selected Nokia to deploy a private 5G wireless network supporting grid modernization in Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee. Nokia will provide AirScale radio access equipment and a 5G Core Enterprise Solution, along with cybersecurity products for proactive threat management, and the network aimed to enhance power distribution while reducing unplanned outages.
