What people do with the registry

Every example works in Claude over MCP, or through the REST API and CLI. Each answer comes back with the record, its source link and the company's peers.

  1. Build a shortlist for a category. Ask: “Which companies sell zero trust network access, and what has each announced in the last 90 days?” You get the companies with their Listings, their recent records and a source link for each.
  2. Watch your competitors. Add companies to a watch list and get an alert by email or Slack when new coverage appears, or pull new records for them every day through the API.
  3. Check a company before a meeting. Ask for a company's recent records and you get a dated timeline, each entry linked to the announcement, filing or article it came from.
  4. Ground your agent's answers about B2B companies. Have your agent call the registry before it answers, so it quotes a reviewed record and its source instead of guessing.
  5. Map a market. List the companies in a market or category with their peers and pull the set into a spreadsheet or notebook with the CLI.
