Gilat DataPath Receives $7 Million Contract from U.S. Army
This initial award can potentially grow up to $70 million as part of the agreement spanning a period of up to 5 years.
Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: GILT, TASE: GILT) announced that its subsidiary, Gilat DataPath, received a contract to provide technical services to the U.S. Army through a prime contractor. The base program is valued at over $7 million, with options extending the total to $70 million over five years.
Gilat DataPath will deliver global field and support services under the award for the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications Networks (PEO C3N). This contract results from a competitive selection process under the Global Tactical Advanced Communication Systems II (GTACS II) vehicle.
