Infosys partners with Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools for digital transformation.
Infosys has partnered with Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) to enhance operational efficiencies through digital transformation. This initiative involves the deployment of Situational Awareness Platform (SAP) S/4HANA Cloud and other enterprise platforms to optimize data management across approximately 300 schools, aiming to improve overall user experience.
The deployment will enable MACS to modernize its core Emergency Response Plan (ERP) systems, facilitating a streamlined administrative framework and enhancing access to real-time data. The program is designed to create a unified digital workspace with role-based access, promoting collaboration and better communication within the educational community.
Edward Simons, Executive Director of MACS, emphasized the importance of effective systems in education, stating, “Getting digital system foundations right is complex detailed work, and it requires deep, specialist expertise.” This sentiment was echoed by Vicki Russell, Chief Technology and Transformation Officer, who noted that modernizing systems positions MACS to better support school communities. Infosys' capabilities will aid in aligning educational outcomes with operational excellence.
Peter Moore, Head of Partner Ecosystem at SAP Asia Pacific, mentioned the complexity of managing MACS' operations and how the cloud solutions will simplify processes while preparing the organization to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) effectively. Raja Shah, Infosys' EVP, remarked on the bold vision of MACS for digital transformation, and the role of Infosys in facilitating this change.
