Technology Releases & Product Enhancements

Fujitsu began global sales of its next-generation FUJITSU-MONAKA CPU in November 2026 and planned to sell a MONAKA Server equipped with the CPU, with domestic manufacturing intended to support traceability for sovereign AI infrastructure. Fujitsu said the CPU has a maximum operating frequency of 3.8GHz and a memory transfer speed of 8800MT/s.

Abacus.AI introduced three open-weight language models within its Smaug model line, including Smaug Agentic, Smaug Flash, and Smaug Mini. The company said Smaug was designed to support long-running self-improving agentic loops in a cost-efficient way and that it could be hosted in an enterprise cloud VPC environment.

Digital Realty formed a strategic joint venture with Rönesans Infrastructure to develop and operate data centers across Türkiye, extending its PlatformDIGITAL data center platform to the Turkish market.
