Tenable® Holdings, Inc. said it ranked first in worldwide device vulnerability and exposure management market share in an IDC report for August 2026. The company reported 24.6% share, and tied the result to ongoing work on its exposure management platform.
In the IDC Market Shares report cited by Tenable, the company retained 24.6% share in the worldwide device vulnerability and exposure management market, which it said was nearly $260 million ahead of its nearest competitor. Tenable described exposure management as a way to understand cyber risk, prioritize action, and defend against evolving cyberattacks.
Tenable said its Tenable One Exposure Management Platform combined visibility and contextualized exposure intelligence with continuous security control and validation capabilities. In recent months, the company introduced autonomous, always-on capabilities through Tenable Hexa AI, the agentic AI engine of Tenable One, and said the Tenable One AI Exposure capabilities expanded coverage across major AI platforms and developer tools. Tenable also said the platform expanded coverage into application security environments.
