Summary
NVIDIA and Meta plan to expand their partnership around the Muse family of models, a move that reflects popular demand for useful AI agents.
Meta’s Muse models and agents, which draw on NVIDIA infrastructure, delivered frontier-level benchmark performance and surging consumer downloads after launch. The companies intend to deepen collaboration through joint optimizations across workflows, aimed at maximizing performance and improving total cost of ownership.
Meta plans to widen its use of NVIDIA infrastructure, including Vera Rubin and Vera CPUs, to power next-generation AI agents with maximum performance per watt. The deployment will also include NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking and BlueField-4, which are intended to support network efficiency and throughput.
The companies will also consider further work on the NVIDIA OpenShell Reference Architecture, including NVIDIA OpenShell for safe deployment, along with NVIDIA Sentry for monitoring agent behavior and for processing structured, unstructured and graph data. Separately, NVIDIA will invest $3 billion in Meta’s equity offering.
“AI agents represent a new computing paradigm — software that understands our goals, reasons, uses tools and gets work done on our behalf,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “Muse is how we bring personal superintelligence to everyone. We’re excited to keep working with NVIDIA to deliver the best personal agents and frontier models for billions of people,” said Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Meta.
Forward-looking statements in the announcement, including the expected completion of NVIDIA’s proposed investment in Meta, are subject to risks and uncertainties, and NVIDIA disclaims any obligation to update them except as required by law.
