Technology Releases & Product Enhancements

ONES 4.1 introduced configurable telemetry controls and built-in host and container monitoring to improve network observability and operational efficiency. It shifted from always-on data collection to selectable telemetry capture and published host and container metrics into a unified telemetry pipeline. The release added UI elements for configuring telemetry preferences and supporting rule-based alerting and dashboards.

Illumio introduced an agentless capability in Illumio Insights for unified visibility and breach containment across cloud, data center, and endpoint environments. It ingested real-time telemetry and policy data from Check Point and Fortinet firewalls, converted firewall information into real-time traffic maps, and identified policy gaps and lateral movement without installing agents.

FTAS 3.5 extended validation for EVPN VXLAN fabrics by expanding scale thresholds and adding deterministic convergence tests. It covered up to 30,000 MAC and ARP entries and routing scale targets of up to 64,000 host routes and 128,000 prefix routes across IPv4 and IPv6 underlays, including control-plane to forwarding-plane consistency checks.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Engagement

NVIDIA formed a coalition with Nokia, Ericsson, T-Mobile, and Deutsche Telekom to architect AI-native wireless infrastructure for forthcoming 6G planning. The coalition listed objectives including AI-RAN integration, resilience through open and trusted principles, integrated sensing and communication at the edge, and scalability for billions of autonomous endpoints requiring higher security and lower latency.

Ericsson joined the OCUDU Ecosystem Foundation under the Linux Foundation as a founding premier member and took a seat on the foundation’s board. OCUDU aimed to develop a portable, open-source CU/DU software stack to support next-generation RAN capabilities, and Ericsson said it planned to contribute architectural guidance and uphold technology neutrality.

Noma Security made its AI security platform available through AWS Security Hub’s Extended plan, enabling customers to secure and protect AI assets across environments. The integrated offering combined continuous AI discovery and posture management with automated red teaming and runtime protection, and covered Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker workloads along with third-party AI applications and developer-deployed agents.

Infrastructure, Platform, or Deployment Updates

Nokia launched Doksuri Remote Radio Heads and an rApp Marketplace at Mobile World Congress 2026 for its AirScale portfolio and SMO platform. Nokia said Doksuri Radios delivered up to 30 percent improvement in power efficiency, up to 25 percent lower weight, and reduced installation time by up to 70 percent, while supporting Open RAN front-haul standards.

Ericsson completed a pre-standard 6G over-the-air session in Plano, Texas, demonstrating cloud-hosted LLM processing, AI-driven robotics control, and real-time video streaming. The session used a trusted end-to-end architecture described as AI and cloud native, including radio hardware, RAN compute, software-defined air interfaces, and cloud platforms.

Eviden completed delivery of the SkyMon satellite spectrum monitoring system to Greece’s EETT for the EOS/ΗΩΣ monitoring station. SkyMon automated observation of satellites in GSO, enabling centralized monitoring of satellite-to-ground station links and oversight of radio-frequency usage.
