Elisa joins MWC Barcelona 2026 with product demonstrations

Elisa and its international software business Elisa Industriq said they planned a robust presence at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from 2–5 March 2026, with demonstrations, panels and meetings scheduled across the event. The release noted MWC marked its 20th year in Barcelona and described the event as the world's largest and most influential international connectivity and mobile technology event.

The companies outlined a program of product and solution demonstrations, collaborative partnerships and keynote appearances across several exhibition halls. The release highlighted a Fraud Call Prevention Solution already deployed in Finland that had received the European Crime Prevention Award.

The release described work with Google Cloud on AI-driven autonomous network operations that included a network digital twin and live Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents, and said the network could largely run itself, adapt to high-level business goals, and proactively detect and fix issues. It also described Gridle as an AI-powered energy optimization service connected to Radio Access Network (RAN) batteries and Polystar's AI-driven automated assurance, data management and enhanced analytics use cases.

Planned demonstrations and meetings were detailed by hall and stand: autonomous network features in Hall 2 at stand 2H40 ground floor; Fraud Call Prevention in Hall 5, 5J45 in the Finland Pavilion; Gridle in a dedicated meeting room in Hall 3; and Polystar in Hall 5, 5F35. The release said Sami Komulainen would join Nokia's press and analyst event on 1 March at 14:00 CET live on YouTube, and Topi Manner would join the panel “Scam Wars: When AI Joins the Fight” on 2 March at 15:00 CET in Hall 6, Turing Stage.

The release said Elisa and Google Cloud were accelerating the shift to AI-driven autonomous network operations.
