The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) scheduled the Connect (X) 2026 event for May 5-6, 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The program included keynote panel sessions from executives at Verizon and other technology and infrastructure companies, with video and transcripts planned for publication on the event page.
WIA stated that the keynote sessions would be available as video and transcripts on a specified page. The Verizon keynote was set for Tuesday, May 5, from 10:40am to 12:30pm.
The Verizon keynote panel is titled “AI at the Edge: Where Compute Meets Connectivity.” WIA said the panel would explore how operators are turning mobile networks into AI-powered platforms that drive efficiency today and lay the foundation for 6G. Panelists listed for that session included Srini Kalapala of Verizon, Bhupesh Agrawal of Intel, Joe Constantine of Ericsson, Sean Farney of JLL, Dr. Ozge Koymen of Qualcomm, and Jim Poole of American Tower.
WIA also listed a second keynote panel titled “The AI-Native Network: Redefining the Future of Mobile Infrastructure.” The association said the panelists would examine how Edge AI infrastructure is enabling low-latency applications and rapid AI inferencing across wireless, fiber, and enterprise environments. That panel included Kanika Atri of Nvidia, Aji Ed of Nokia, and Salim Kouidri of T-Mobile.
WIA also posted that the Connect (X) keynote content would be available as video and transcripts on the event page.
