Atos Group sells Ideal GRP to MAIT Group

Atos Group signed a binding agreement to sell Ideal GRP to MAIT Group as part of its 'Genesis' transformation plan, which aimed to return Atos Group to sustainable growth and improved profitability.

Ideal GRP operated under the Eviden brand for Atos Group and was headquartered in Finland, with activities in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Estonia. The company reported approximately €20 million in annual revenue and employed around 80 people across the region.

Ideal GRP functioned as a product lifecycle management system integrator and held platinum-level solution partner status with Siemens Digital Industries Software. The company provided consulting, integration, software and maintenance services to support major companies operating in a wide range of sectors, such as manufacturing, defense and technology, media & telecommunications.

The operation described that Ideal GRP would complement MAIT Group’s expertise in lifecycle management and that its Nordic presence would support MAIT Group’s ambition to expand its activities in the region.

The transaction was expected to close in the coming weeks, once all closing conditions were fulfilled.
