Atos placed in IDC MarketScape leaders for Middle East MDR 2025
Atos was placed in the Leaders category of the IDC MarketScape: Middle East Managed Detection and Response (MDR) 2025 assessment, a designation the report tied to the company’s sustained investment in regional Managed Security Services (MSS).
Atos has operated in the Middle East for more than 25 years and combined local presence with global scale and expertise, supporting medium and large enterprises and public sector organizations. The company supported customers with local delivery aligned to regulatory and data residency requirements.
Atos' MDR services were underpinned by a global network of 17 Security Operations (SecOps) Centers that combined local monitoring and first-line response with specialist global capabilities such as Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), incident preparedness, crisis simulations and continuous threat exposure management.
The organization expanded its regional SecOps footprint, operated in Saudi Arabia and launched an AI-driven SOC in Qatar. Its network processes more than 31 billion security events per day and serves over 2,000 customers, according to the materials provided.
“Atos combines a global SOC network with regional capacity in Middle East, addressing both global visibility and local delivery needs. Its MDR platform integrates diverse telemetry sources, incorporates automated triage, and connects with DFIR functions to support incident response.” said the report. “This recognition as a Leader in IDC MarketScape for Managed Detection and Response in the Middle East reflects Atos’s long-standing commitment to the region.” said Marc Veelenturf, Head of Middle East & Turkey, Atos.
Atos said it continued to invest in advanced SOC capabilities and AI-driven security services to support highly regulated environments across the Middle East.
