Atos Group launches Atos Sovereign Agentic Studios
Atos Group launched Atos Sovereign Agentic Studios to move agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) from pilot projects into production under explicit sovereign control, presenting an operating model intended to integrate AI into mission-critical operations at scale.
According to the release, enterprises accelerated adoption of agentic AI and shifted the primary challenge from creating agents to operating them reliably in live, regulated and mission-critical environments. The Group said its Agentic AI approach was anchored in measurable business value and referenced Atos Amplify and a Defra engagement that reported a 27% productivity gain.
Atos described sovereignty as an operational discipline rather than a compliance checkbox and said security, AI governance and human oversight were embedded from the outset. The studios were engineered for real-world deployment and for scaling autonomy while retaining control where risk, regulation or criticality required it.
Atos said the studios operate as a globally integrated delivery model anchored in four geographies and supported by ten Global Delivery Centers. The release named Birmingham (UK), Texas (US), Southwest France, Paris region (France) and Germany; it added that Scaler connected clients with startups including KYP.AI, Ema, Pay‑i, Klarity, Poolside and Noma Security and that Poolside’s platform could be deployed on customer‑owned infrastructure.
“The market is at an inflection point as enterprises seek to scale their AI deployments but wrestle to adapt to the operational realities of production environments,” said Throughput Optimization Module (TOM) Reuner, Principal Analyst at Policy as Code (PaC).
“As a result, many struggle to realize business value from their investments. By focusing on workforce transformation and by expanding trust to include governed autonomy, Atos Sovereign Agentic Studios provides organizations a pathway to better navigate these challenges, especially in highly regulated industries and projects exposed to the fragility of geopolitics.” The release added that Atos was moving toward a fully integrated, agentic AI‑powered operating model supported globally by the Atos Sovereign Agentic Studios.
