SailPoint named 2026 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice
SailPoint, Inc. said it received a Customers’ Choice designation in the 2026 Gartner Peer Insights “Voice of the Customer for Identity Governance and Administration” report. The company tied the outcome to customer feedback on Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) across environments that include on-premises (on-prem) and cloud.
Gartner defines IGA as a solution that manages the identity life cycle and governs access across on-prem and cloud environments. SailPoint said the report used an overall rating, with additional scores for factors including product capabilities, sales experience, deployment experience, and support experience.
SailPoint reported a 4.8 out of 5 overall rating in the report and cited 197 reviews in the reporting timeframe between August 1, 2024 and January 31, 2026. It said 96% of respondents noted willingness to recommend. The company also stated that product capabilities, sales experience, deployment experience, and support experience each received scores of 4.5 out of 5 or higher.
SailPoint’s review excerpts described IGA as involving centralized Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM), access requests, access reviews, and platform operational support. “Implementing Identity Security Cloud has completely transformed identity governance at our company, and continues to deliver gains in efficiency, consistency, and compliance - through centralized identity lifecycle management, access requests, access reviews, and more - for hundreds of our applications today and many more in the future,” said an IT Associate from an over $30B firm in the energy and utilities industry as part of a Gartner Peer Insights review published on January 23, 2026. It also included: “The SailPoint team provides a true partnership in the overall delivery of Identity Governance & Administration,” said a Director, IT Security and Risk Management in the finance (non-banking) industry as part of a Gartner Peer Insights review published on January 30, 2026.
SailPoint said it offers Identity Security Cloud-related capabilities including SailPoint Agent Identity Security, SailPoint Observability & Insights, and SailPoint Shadow Artificial Intelligence (AI) Remediation, and added that Success Acceleration Service Packages were launched in April 2025. It also noted that “Vendors recognized with a Customers’ Choice distinction received strong customer ratings” in the areas it listed.
