SailPoint, Inc. launches Agentic Fabric for AI agents
SailPoint, Inc. said it launched SailPoint Agentic Fabric to extend its Identity Security Cloud approach to AI agents and other non-human identities. The company framed the move as a response to governance needs that arise as autonomous agents operate across environments and act without the same ownership and oversight as human users.
According to the release, Identity Security Cloud already helps organizations secure human identities, and Agentic Fabric extends that model to “agentic governance and protection.” SailPoint said the platform approach combines discovery, visibility, governance, authorization, and protection to manage identity relationships across an organization.
SailPoint Agentic Fabric was described as connecting identities, access, and activity, and using an identity graph to provide context. The release said it maps each AI agent to human owners, data, and systems it interacts with, with real-time controls for authorization that include threat detection and automated response intended to help maintain least-privilege access as agents act.
The company said Agentic Fabric and two agentic packages would be available this summer. It also introduced “Agentic Business” and “Agentic Business Plus,” and offered a “Discovery Tool free trial” for “immediate visibility” into “shadow AI” and applications, available today for net new customers and for existing customers of IdentityIQ and Identity Security Cloud.

Agentic Fabric gives organizations the visibility, control, and context to keep autonomous agents secure, accountable, and connected to a human owner.” The release also quoted Chandra Gnanasambadam, EVP of Product and Chief Technology Officer at SailPoint: “With Agentic Fabric, SailPoint is moving aggressively to secure one of the biggest emerging risks in enterprise AI: the rapid growth of AI agents and other non-human identities,” and added: “As this new identity landscape takes shape, organizations need a way to govern and protect human, machine, and AI identities together. Agentic Fabric is a major step forward in helping customers secure the AI era.”
