Oracle launches Claw-powered supply chain agentic applications

Summary

Oracle has introduced a set of Claw-powered agentic applications for supply chain operations, intended to help supply chain teams reach critical business outcomes with greater speed and confidence. The applications are designed for work that must be adjusted continually as conditions change.

The applications are built into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. They allow organizations to handle complex, high-value work with more autonomy and at scale, within permissions already established. The examples given range from optimizing supply and transportation plans to analyzing procurement spend.

Fusion Claw serves as the execution runtime for these applications. It is described as a governed agentic runtime that lets Fusion Agentic Applications reason, compute, adapt, and execute specialist-grade work, including deep research, computation, simulation, modeling, and continuous replanning. The runtime supports larger-scale, longer-running work, deterministic execution, and automation governed by organizational policies and controls.

Three applications are available within Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing. Supply Planning Allocation evaluates competing demand against scarce materials and capacity and prepares plans for review. Shipment Load Planning evaluates consolidation options against timing, capacity, service, and cost, then acts on authorized plans. Procurement Spend analyzes spend, supplier agreement, and purchasing data to flag maverick spend and contract leakage and recommends corrective actions.

Fusion Agentic Applications build on Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, which the company describes as the enterprise system of record spanning finance, HR, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, service, and marketing. Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications allows organizations to create and manage agents, including reusable Oracle, partner, and external agents, with built-in observability, ROI measurement, and safety controls.
