Summary
Oracle has added capabilities to Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence that give AI access to trusted data and business context. The updates extend the platform's AI-powered reporting and dashboards, helping organizations move from seeing what is happening to understanding why it matters and acting on it.
Managed data pipelines, business semantics, security, packaged key performance indicators, analytics, and AI are combined within the platform. It is prebuilt for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, and its curated data and context help AI understand how business data, processes, and performance connect, so business and IT teams can focus on decisions instead of building and maintaining the underlying foundation.
Data Agents, now generally available, let business users ask plain-language questions against the Fusion Data Intelligence datastore through a conversational companion embedded in the dashboard they are viewing. Deep Insight Agents support open-ended investigation of business questions through follow-ups, combining semantic reasoning, business definitions, enterprise context, and approved analytical methods to examine drivers and compare potential responses. Fusion AI Agents and agentic applications draw on governed metrics to surface insights within Oracle Fusion Applications.
Fusion Data Intelligence for US Government offers prebuilt, governed AI-powered analytics in supported FedRAMP-authorized Oracle US Government cloud realms. EPM Integration brings Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM budgets and forecasts alongside actuals in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, while Operational Analytics is available on a limited basis. Fusion Data Intelligence for Oracle E-Business Suite provides prebuilt analytics for customers moving from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion Applications.
“AI is only as useful as its understanding of your business. Access to data isn't enough; it needs the business context to interpret what that data means, how different parts of the organization connect, and what drives performance,” said Srikant Gokulnatha, senior vice president, Oracle.
“With Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, we're bringing trusted, enriched data and additional context together to help customers move beyond reporting to understanding what's happening, why it's happening, and what to do next.” Deep Insight Agents are planned for general availability within the next 12 months.
