Summary
Cloudera has widened its Enterprise AI Ecosystem to include Mistral AI, VAST Data, Neo4j and Cartesia. The additions were revealed at EVOLVE26 in New York and build on ecosystem work from 2024 and 2025. The company describes Anywhere Cloud as the foundation for enterprise AI factories, meaning environments that continuously turn governed data into insight and autonomous action.
Enterprises are moving from posing questions to AI systems toward assigning agents responsibility for business outcomes, which makes each layer of the architecture significant. Agents require connected knowledge to interpret business context, models suited to individual tasks, responsive interfaces, and infrastructure that keeps data flowing. Anywhere Cloud is designed to unify these elements under one operating model across public cloud, private cloud and on-premises environments, giving organizations more room to address performance, cost and sovereignty requirements.
Neo4j contributes knowledge graphs and semantic context, allowing agents to query relationships across enterprise data and to see how customers, products, transactions and business processes connect. Cartesia adds speech generation and transcription for voice agents operating in customer-controlled environments, reporting speech-generation latency below 90 milliseconds. Its Sonic-3.6 model ranked first on both Artificial Analysis speech arena leaderboards at launch.
Mistral's expanding portfolio includes the announced 1.05-trillion-parameter Large 4 model, Timestral forecasting models and Robostral for embodied navigation. VAST's storage architecture supports Cloudera's containerized data services, and the partnership is described as addressing GPU starvation by supplying accelerators with high-throughput, low-latency data.
Abhas Ricky, Chief Business Officer and GM, Applied AI at Cloudera, said, “Our ambition is to make every enterprise an AI factory, with the freedom to choose its models, retain control of its data, and improve the economics of every workload.”
Jeff Denworth, Co-Founder at VAST Data, said, “Together, Cloudera and VAST are helping customers build AI factories that connect data, intelligence, and infrastructure into a single operational platform for AI across hybrid environments.” Cloudera aims to reduce integration effort, improve total cost of ownership and make hybrid and sovereign AI easier to put into production through joint solutions and validated reference architectures.
