Atos signs three-year contract with LCH SA for financial systems cloud migration

Atos signed a three-year contract with LCH SA to help migrate the clearing house’s financial information systems to cloud infrastructure. The work matters because LCH SA operates financial information systems for its clearing activities and the contract covers continuity of operations during the migration.

Under the agreement, the migration uses a highly secure, SecNumCloud-qualified cloud infrastructure. The contract connects the migration effort to operational resilience and to meeting expectations of customers and regulators as LCH SA moved to the cloud.

Atos will assist LCH SA with the transition of its financial information systems, while maintaining continuity of operations as stated in the contract. The terms also reference compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks in the context of the migration.

Franck Chartier, head of France, Atos, said, “Our expertise, our industry knowledge, and our commitment are key to the success of LCH SA’s migration to the cloud. We are proud to contribute to the modernization and migration of such a strategic infrastructure for the European financial market” said Franck Chartier, head of France, Atos. Corentine Poilvet-Clédière, CEO, LCH SA and country head, France, LSEG, said, “This project with Atos supports the modernisation of our information systems and helps ensure we continue to meet the expectations of our customers and regulators, while strengthening our operational resilience as we move to the cloud” said Corentine Poilvet-Clédière, CEO, LCH SA and country head, France, LSEG.

The companies described the migration as a three-year project aimed at moving LCH SA’s financial information systems to SecNumCloud-qualified cloud infrastructure with continuity of operations.
