Eviden IAM Receives Cybersecurity Made in Europe Label from ECSO
Eviden, the Atos Group product brand for cybersecurity products, mission-critical systems and vision Artificial Intelligence (AI), received the Cybersecurity Made In Europe label from the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO). The company said the label recognizes its European footprint and alignment with European standards.
In the description of the label, Eviden cited compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), investment in cybersecurity Research and Development (R&D) in Europe, and support for digital sovereignty. The announcement also linked the label to visibility for the European cybersecurity ecosystem.
Eviden’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions were described through functional coverage and architecture claims. The text listed Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) + AM + WAM + IDaaS, advanced authentication (MFA, passwordless, Zero Trust), Single Sign-On (SSO), and a “sovereign, certified, and highly secure architecture.” It also referenced cloud modernization through Orbion as part of IDaaS.
The company’s representative attributed the acknowledgment to Europe-based delivery and contribution to digital sovereignty. David Leporini, director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) cybersecurity products at Eviden, Atos Group, stated: “We are proud to have received the Cybersecurity Made in Europe label. This recognition from ECSO highlights our commitment to delivering trusted cybersecurity rooted in Europe and to contributing to European digital sovereignty.”
ECSO was described as a European non-profit organization founded in 2016 that brings together public and private stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity in Europe, partnering with the European Commission to structure cybersecurity initiatives and investments.
