Acronis expands #TeamUp program into Finland

Acronis expanded its #TeamUp Program into Finland through a partnership with Kuopion Palloseura (KuPS) and Data Group Kuopio, under which Acronis Cyber Protection would be delivered to secure KuPS' data, systems, and day-to-day operations.

The announcement presented the #TeamUp Program expansion in the Nordic region and noted that KuPS' operations had evolved with increased international competition, which had raised the club's requirements for secure and reliable IT systems.

Acronis described its solutions as designed to identify, prevent, detect, respond, remediate and recover from modern cyberthreats, with minimal downtime to maintain data integrity and business continuity. Data Group Kuopio provides Acronis backup and Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Microsoft 365 with Copilot Artificial Intelligence (AI), device management, and cloud migration.

Data Group Kuopio served as the Acronis #CyberFit Delivery Partner and was responsible for deploying and supporting Acronis Cyber Protection solutions for KuPS to ensure consistent protection across the club's IT environment. Acronis Cyber Protect is available in 26 languages in 150 countries and is used by over 21,000 service providers to protect over 750,000 businesses.

“We are pleased to extend the Acronis #TeamUp Program into Finland with KuPS and Data Group Kuopio, marking another important step in strengthening Acronis’ presence across the Nordic region,” said Peter Graymon, General Manager, Nordics at Acronis. “Today’s work environment places ever-increasing demands on software and cybersecurity,” said Vesa Kauppila, Chairman of the Board, Kuopion Palloseura.

The announcement noted that KuPS' international season would continue in February 2026 when the Conference League play-off stage began.
