Acronis partners with Hockey Club Davos and COOQIE in Switzerland
Acronis, Hockey Club Davos AG, and Swiss IT provider COOQIE formed a three-year #TeamUp partnership in Switzerland to protect the club’s IT infrastructure as the team entered the Swiss National League playoffs.
The collaboration strengthened HCD’s digital resilience during the playoff period and supported ongoing operations, and COOQIE expanded its role with the club under the Acronis program.
Acronis provided integrated cybersecurity and data protection solutions, including Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) (DR) capabilities and endpoint management. The company’s solutions were described as designed to identify, prevent, detect, respond, remediate, and recover from modern cyberthreats with minimal downtime to preserve data integrity and business continuity.
Under the three-year arrangement, Acronis served as Cybersecurity Partner to deliver the specified solutions to Hockey Club Davos AG, and COOQIE served as Acronis Delivery Partner to deploy and manage those solutions tailored to the club’s needs.
“We are proud to expand our #TeamUp presence in Switzerland and across the DACH region with Hockey Club Davos AG and COOQIE,” said Markus Fritz, General Manager, DACH at Acronis. “This partnership with Acronis and COOQIE strengthens our IT foundation at an important moment in the season,” said Ivan Fanconi, Member of the Executive Board and responsible for IT infrastructure at Hockey Club Davos AG.
Service providers are invited to join the Acronis #TeamUp Program to deliver Acronis Cyber Protection solutions to world-class and global professional sports teams.
