Trend Micro to Sponsor 2025 Global Anti-Scam Alliance Summits
Trend Micro Incorporated has announced its Thought Leadership Sponsorship of the 2025 Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) Summits. The inaugural summit will take place in London on March 26-27 at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre.
As part of its role, Trend will address the challenges posed by online scams. Company representatives will share insights and unveil the latest feature of its anti-scam consumer tool, Trend Micro ScamCheck.
Jon Clay, VP of Threat Intelligence at Trend, will deliver a keynote titled “Looking Deeper Than Deepfakes,” discussing how cybercriminals exploit Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for scams and fraud. Clay will explain how Trend utilizes advanced technologies to counter these threats.
Additionally, Trend will host a 90-minute workshop led by Lynette Owens, VP of Consumer Education and Marketing. This session will bring together global experts to explore strategies for reducing the risks of online scams through public education and technology.
Trend Micro will demonstrate its ScamCheck tool at the event, showcasing its new voice command feature for scam verification. The partnership with GASA reflects Trend's long-standing commitment to creating a safer digital environment, built on over 35 years of collaboration with various stakeholders to combat cybercrime.
