Varonis integrates agentic AI into Managed Data Detection and Response
Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents supercharge Varonis’ expert analysts to provide customers with 24x7 data defense.
Varonis Systems, Inc. has announced the integration of agentic AI into its Managed Data Detection and Response (MDDR) offering. This addition is aimed at enhancing data Security Operations (SecOps) in the face of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
Modern cyber adversaries increasingly utilize AI to conduct automated attacks, necessitating the use of AI in countermeasures. Varonis’ agentic AI functions autonomously, executing a range of approved actions to expedite triage, investigation, and incident containment. This functionality allows analysts to focus on more complex matters.
“Varonis MDDR customers have a world-class team of human analysts supported by an army of hyper-efficient robots working around the clock to keep their data safe from threats,” said Yaki Faitelson, CEO, President, and Co-founder of Varonis.
The AI agents are designed to perform tasks such as analyzing log data and correlating IP addresses with known threats. Over time, they improve their effectiveness by learning from past incidents and incorporating feedback from analysts.
The implementation of agentic AI within Varonis MDDR enables robust data security solutions for clients, ensuring continuous monitoring and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Varonis’ new AI capabilities are now integrated into its MDDR offering, reinforcing the company's commitment to providing effective data protection services.
