Presidio Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Ergo

Presidio announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire Ergo, an IT solutions and Managed Services Provider (MSP) based in Ireland. This acquisition aims to extend Presidio’s presence in Ireland and the UK, combining resources to enhance service delivery for both local and multinational clients.

The merger is expected to create a stronger organization with increased capabilities in digital transformation and cloud services. Together, Presidio and Ergo will integrate their strengths, allowing for a more comprehensive portfolio that includes infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud-managed services. This collaboration is anticipated to accelerate advancements in cloud and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.

Bob Cagnazzi, CEO of Presidio, noted that acquiring Ergo represents a significant step in expanding their European operations and enhancing client value. Ergo CEO Paul McCann expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, highlighting the supportive resources Presidio offers to enhance their community commitment and service delivery. Presidio plans to finalize the transaction by the end of 2025, pending regulatory approvals.
