Oracle introduced Fusion Companion and Oracle Fusion Agentic, two capabilities for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications intended to help organizations reach business outcomes. Employees can carry out that work through AI tools they already use, with enterprise security and control maintained.
Users are no longer required to know which application to navigate, which transaction to execute, which workflow or approval to initiate, or which AI agent to use. Fusion Companion determines how to get the work done while maintaining enterprise security, permissions, and controls.
Fusion Companion functions as an intelligent layer for Oracle Fusion Applications. It draws on enterprise business context, data, and user permissions to interpret user objectives, then selects and coordinates transactions, workflows, approvals, AI agents, and agentic applications. Users reach it through supported AI tools such as ChatGPT, and it can draw on data from other enterprise systems and coordinate authorized actions across them.
Fusion Agentic is described as a personalized, AI-native experience in which users define business objectives, delegate work to AI agents and agentic applications, and track progress to completion. Within that experience, business exceptions can be diagnosed for root causes, with corrective actions executed when authorized and decisions requiring human judgment escalated. Fusion Claw-powered applications carry out deep analysis, planning, simulation, optimization, and long-running execution across large volumes of enterprise data.
Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications allows customers and partners to create, extend, and manage these agents, combining trusted enterprise data with security, data governance, and performance needed to operate at scale. “AI is changing where enterprise work begins, but organizations need to maintain control over how that work gets done,” said Chris Leone, executive vice president, Applications Development, Oracle.
Organizations are expected to be able to simplify enterprise work and increase flexibility in how employees work.
