LPS and QAX launch Security Operation Centre in Hong Kong
Lenovo PCCW Solutions (LPS) and Qi An Xin Technology Group (QAX) launched their first joint Security Operation Centre in Hong Kong, addressing the rising demand for advanced cybersecurity defenses due to increasing cyber threats.
The Security Operation Centre utilizes Quantum Asset Exchange (QAX)’s threat detection and prevention technologies and LPS’s managed services expertise, offering 24/7 security operation services for enterprises. This collaboration aims to enable businesses to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies while ensuring compliance.
In recent years, the Asia-Pacific region has seen a significant increase in cyberattacks, prompting local regulatory measures to require organizations to enhance cybersecurity protocols. The new System-on-a-chip (SoC) integrates AI-driven threat detection with human oversight, providing a comprehensive security solution, which includes a dashboard displaying vulnerabilities and risk levels.
LPS brings extensive knowledge of Hong Kong's IT landscape, which is expected to aid enterprises in navigating the evolving cybersecurity environment. Ted Suen, President of LPS, stated, “Our SOC will address the critical need for advanced cybersecurity solutions.” Qi Xiangdong, Chairman of QAX Group, expressed that the partnership highlights their commitment to securing clients’ assets through advanced technologies.
The introduction of the SoC is designed to improve cybersecurity measures in Hong Kong, offering continual protection against cyber threats. LPS plans to further develop its security services in collaboration with QAX to support digital transformation across the Asia-Pacific region.
