NVIDIA collaborates to launch DGX Spark and Station AI systems

NVIDIA has partnered with several prominent computer manufacturers to introduce the DGX Spark and DGX Station systems aimed at developers and researchers in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). These new offerings deliver performance levels akin to traditional AI servers while catering to the rising demand for robust computing resources in AI Research and Development (R&D) (R7D).

Collaboration Overview

Participating companies include Acer, GIGABYTE, Dell Technologies, ASUS, HP, Lenovo, and Memory Semantics Interconnect (MSI), broadening the availability of these systems. Both the DGX Spark and DGX Station are designed to assist developers in prototyping and executing AI models, seamlessly moving from personal desktops to data center environments.

Product Specifications

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA's founder and CEO, emphasized that these systems aim to bolster the next generation of AI R7D. The DGX Spark incorporates the newly developed NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip to enhance AI computational performance, while the DGX Station features robust hardware capable of managing intensive AI tasks.

Software and Availability

Both systems are optimized with the NVIDIA DGX Operating System (OS), which is pre-installed with the latest AI software stack, facilitating easy workflow integration for developers. The DGX Spark is expected to be available from various manufacturers starting in July, with the DGX Station set to launch later in the year.
