Hitachi Vantara Launches VSP One Block High End for AI Workloads

Hitachi Vantara launched the VSP One Block High End, an all-flash Non-volatile Memory Express (NVME) block storage solution aimed at supporting mission-critical business operations and Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads. The product integrates within the company's VSP One data strategy, providing performance, scalability, cybersecurity, and data resilience, which organizations require to manage complex data-driven operations.

As enterprises transition to AI-driven technologies, they experience pressures to modernize their IT infrastructures. Reports indicate that over 70% of companies find their existing systems inadequate for future Machine Learning (ML) and AI tasks. With VSP One, organizations can enhance their data management capabilities and ensure uninterrupted access to critical data.

The platform incorporates built-in cybersecurity features, including Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-3 Level 2 certified protection and Hitachi's Cyber Resilience Guarantee for maximum data recovery and minimal data loss. VSP One Block High End achieves this through advanced connectivity and the ability to consolidate various workloads, scaling efficiently to handle future demands as businesses adopt AI technologies.

“What we're seeing across industries is a tipping point where data infrastructure must evolve or risk holding back innovation,” said Octavian Tanase, chief product officer at Hitachi Vantara. The VSP One Block High End will be available globally in early 2026, providing enterprises with a robust data foundation for their evolving needs.
