Nozomi Networks named the company to beat for AI in cyber-physical systems security

Nozomi Networks was recognized by Gartner as “the company to beat” for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in cyber-physical systems security in Gartner's AI Vendor Race report, a designation that identified Nozomi in the comparative vendor assessment.

Gartner published the report on 8 December 2025 and listed Ruggero Contu, Katell Thielemann and Wam Voster as authors. The report described the Cyber-Physical System (CPS) security AI vendor race as focusing on vendors that provide a complete set of AI solutions and platforms used to protect cyber-physical environments and that cover a wide range of needs and use cases.

The report noted that Nozomi embedded Machine Learning (ML) early in its product development and described technical capabilities cited in the release. Nozomi's AI engine uses a variety of techniques to enrich asset profiles, baseline normal behavior, raise issues and provide actionable insights, and the company described combining network and endpoint visibility, threat detection and AI-powered analysis.

The company said its platform was refined in-house for more than a decade and that it empowers organizations to proactively detect, respond to and mitigate cyber threats targeting industrial and critical infrastructure. The release named energy, manufacturing, transportation, healthcare and other sectors as areas where the platform provides visibility and security for complex cyber-physical systems.

“Native and embedded CPS capabilities and whole life cycle coverage put Nozomi at the head of the pack.” said Gartner. “Nozomi's early approach of embedding machine learning (ML) capabilities natively during the earliest stages of product development in 2013 has given its Nozomi CPS security product an operational head start in enabling AI to support CPS discovery, analysis and alerting capabilities.” said Gartner. “We are proud to be recognized by Gartner Research as the Company to beat for AI in cyber-physical systems protection,” said Nozomi Networks CEO Edgard Capdevielle. “We believe this recognition is a testament to our team's dedication to safeguarding the world's most essential systems and our ongoing commitment to innovation in AI-driven cybersecurity.” said Nozomi Networks CEO Edgard Capdevielle.
