Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. received an order exceeding $10 million from a ground gateway antenna provider to support the rollout of ground infrastructure for a LEO Constellation (Low Earth Orbit) (LEO) constellation.

The transaction was described as part of continued ground gateway procurement for that Low Earth Orbit, indicating further equipment deployment for space-to-ground connectivity gateways.

The order covered Gilat Wavestream’s Powerstream Ka solid-state power amplifier, described as providing high-power Ka-band amplification for gateway sites and designed for long life and reliable operation across multi-orbit gateway deployments.

The equipment was intended to support high-capacity gateway installations for Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) and Geostationary Orbit (GEO) gateway operations, reflecting an installation focus on continuous and cost-effective gateway functionality.

“We are pleased to continue supporting this large-scale LEO ground gateway program,” said Edgar Khachatryan, President, Gilat Wavestream. “Our Powerstream solutions are purpose-built for the scale and performance demands of LEO, MEO & GEO ground gateway installations, and with more than 2,000 Ka band units delivered worldwide, we continue to play a leading role in enabling reliable, high-capacity gateway infrastructure.”

Deliveries are expected over the next 12 months.
