Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. receives $6 million Army order
Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. said its Gilat DataPath unit received approximately $6 million in new orders to provide field and technical services supporting the U.S. Army.
The company said the order extended Gilat’s support under its multi-year engagement with the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications Networks (PEO C3N) and was executed under the GTACS II contract vehicle.
Gilat’s portfolio includes a software-defined platform and modems, satellite terminals, Satellite On-the-Move antennas and ESAs, solid state power amplifiers (SSPA) and block upconverters (BUC), integrated ground systems, field services, network management software, and cybersecurity services.
The new orders were described as a continuation of field and technical services, with the work to be delivered over six months as part of the ongoing engagement under the GTACS II vehicle.
“This next phase of orders reflects the U.S. Army’s continued confidence in Gilat to support operational readiness with proven, dependable capabilities,” said Nicole Robinson, President of Gilat DataPath. The release included forward-looking statements identified under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.
