BWT Alpine Formula One Team and SEALSQ Launch Quantum Partnership at Las Vegas Grand Prix

A special event took place at the Las Vegas Grand Prix on November 21, 2025, marking the commercial launch of SEALSQ's QS7001 quantum resistant chip. This event occurred at F1 Arcade as motorsport activities dominated the city.

SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES), which specializes in semiconductors, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and post-quantum technology, announced a partnership with the BWT Alpine Formula One Team. This collaboration aims to enhance the integration of quantum-secure semiconductors within the team's operations.

The partnership focuses on exploring quantum technologies' applications in BWT Alpine's operational and security systems. SEALSQ emphasizes advancing secure technology through Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), secure microcontrollers, and Quantum-as-a-Service offerings, which can protect data and authenticate devices.

This collaboration intends to position BWT Alpine as one of the first Formula One teams to implement quantum-resistant encryption. Such measures will help safeguard critical information against potential quantum attacks, ensuring the security of data exchanges within the team.

Carlos Moreira, CEO of SEALSQ, stated, “Racing is not only about speed on the track, but also about innovation in the lab and the cloud. By merging our quantum and secure semiconductor expertise with BWT Alpine’s engineering excellence, we are building a new performance paradigm where technology and security accelerate together.”

The partnership aligns with the history of SEALSQ's parent company, WISeKey International Holding Ltd, which has supported major racing events. WISeKey's previous experiences in cybersecurity during events like the America’s Cup showcase its capabilities in enhancing performance and data intelligence through secure technologies.

Guy Martin, Global Marketing Director of BWT Alpine said, “Partnering with SEALSQ represents a key milestone for BWT Alpine Formula One Team in preparation for an impressive new technological advancement. The capabilities of quantum technology are set to be a major development in computing and SEALSQ’s innovative protection align perfectly with the team’s future ambition.”

This collaboration signifies a progression toward realizing quantum-powered security and technology integration within the framework of Formula One racing.
