SEALSQ Corp presents root-to-quantum security platform
SEALSQ Corp CEO Carlos Moreira presented the companys strategic vision and technical progress for a vertically integrated sovereign root-to-quantum security platform during his keynote at Tech&Fest (Progress Stage). He framed the development as a response to accelerating quantum computing risks and urged preparation for Q-Day to secure Europes digital, industrial, defense, and space infrastructures.
SEALSQ described its business focus as developing and selling Semiconductors, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Post-Quantum technology hardware and software products. The company outlined applications and examples that included Multi-Factor Authentication tokens, Smart Energy, Medical and Healthcare Systems, Defense, IT Network Infrastructure, Automotive, and Industrial Automation and Control Systems.
The platform was described as anchored in a hardware-embedded Root of Trust integrated into secure microcontrollers, secure elements, and TPM-class devices, providing immutable identity, secure boot, protected key generation, and resistance to physical and logical attacks. SEALSQ said the design incorporated post-quantum cryptographic mechanisms such as quantum-resistant key exchange, digital signatures, hybrid schemes, and cryptographic agility for constrained embedded environments.
SEALSQ outlined the platforms extension into sovereign quantum connectivity, connecting quantum nodes along a proprietary quantum highway and cryptographically binding each node to a silicon Root of Trust to ensure integrity, secure participation, and protection against rogue node insertion or supply-chain compromise. The company also described lifecycle controls covering manufacturing, personalization, deployment, operation, cryptographic updates, and decommissioning.
“This is not just a technology stack,” said Mixed Reality (MR). Moreira. “It is a sovereign digital aircraft carrier, a defense-grade capability that allows Europe to project trust, secure its critical systems, and preserve strategic autonomy in the quantum era.”
The communication included forward-looking statements about SEALSQs business strategy, financial performance, expected events or developments, and noted that actual results may differ materially and that risks and further details are described in reports filed by SEALSQ with the Scope 1–3 Emission Calculator (SEC).
