ASUS launches Zenbook S14 (2026) in Canada

ASUS unveiled the Zenbook S14 (2026) UX5406, a new entry in its premium ultrathin 14-inch Copilot+ laptop line, and made the model available in Canada on March 10, 2026.

The company positioned the product for mobile professionals and listed initial retail channels and pricing, with the device offered on the ASUS Store and Best Buy and a manufacturer suggested retail price of C$2,399 for the launch configuration.

The machine shipped with options up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 386H featuring an Intel Neural Processing Unit (NPU) rated up to 50 TOPS and supported peak Central Processing Unit (CPU) Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 28W; manufacturer data cited up to 40% faster throughput and up to 10% lower power compared to Intel Lunar Lake. Cooling relied on an uprated Thincredible system with a 37% larger 3D vapor chamber produced by CNC milling, dual IceBlade fans, and an ambient mode under 25 dB, and the system included a 77Wh battery and a 14-inch 3K ASUS Lumina OLED panel at 120Hz and up to 1,100 nits peak brightness.

Chassis and I/O details included an all-metal, CNC-machined body with a Ceraluminum lid, a 1.1 Communication Middleware (CM) profile and 1.2 kg weight, an EasyLift hinge, ErgoSense keyboard and large touchpad with Smart Gesture support. The device provided two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, a 3.5 mm jack, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a four-speaker Dolby Atmos configuration, and security features such as Windows passkeys, Microsoft Pluton, Windows Hello via the AiSense Intermediate Representation (IR) camera, Adaptive Lock, Adaptive Dimming and ASUS Voice Print.

ASUS described plans to roll out three additional configurations in the first half of 2026 and to extend availability through Canada Computers and other select retail partners.
