Univers and Microsoft collaborate on AI solutions for data centers

Univers, a global leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technology for energy, announced it will integrate Microsoft technologies and collaborate with Microsoft globally to enhance the transition to sustainable energy through AI and cloud solutions.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was announced in London at Univers' flagship forum, One Univers London, during London Climate Action Week.

The collaboration will focus on improving energy efficiency in data centers by utilizing Microsoft AI Cloud capabilities, thereby enhancing Univers' sustainability solutions. The initiative includes integrating Univers' EnOS™ Ark platform with Microsoft data and AI services to aid organizations in managing energy use and carbon footprints.

Michael Ding, Global Executive Director at Univers, noted the partnership reflects a commitment to merging AI with energy solutions, stating, “Together with Microsoft, we're demonstrating that digital innovation and climate responsibility go hand in hand.”

Lewis Richards, Chief Sustainability Officer at Microsoft UK, emphasized the importance of assisting customers in the energy transition, remarking, “Univers and Microsoft will deliver effective and efficient use of data and AI that drives positive change.”
