SailPoint rolls out Identity Security solution combining Agentic Fabric and Human Fabric

SailPoint, Inc. released the SailPoint Identity Security solution, described as a way to address vulnerabilities tied to both human and non-human identities. The company said the update centers on managing identity risk in environments where AI agents access sensitive data.

SailPoint’s recent research said 97% of AI agents have access to sensitive data, while 21% of organizations are highly confident in managing AI agent security risks. The company contrasted this with approaches that rely on static audit certifications or siloed visibility without remediation.

As described, the SailPoint Identity Security solution combines SailPoint Agentic Fabric, now generally available, with SailPoint Human Fabric and applies the “Identity Security Cloud” evolution into a continuous, real-time loop to discover, govern, and protect complex digital environments. The Human Fabric was delivered exclusively as part of the unified solution, with automated discovery of privilege creep, real-time identity context in SOC workflows, and Just-In-Time Provisioning to grant administrative access for the duration a task requires.

The Agentic Fabric, offered as a standalone offering and as a core capability within the unified solution, used lightweight endpoint and browser sensors, including SailPoint Endpoint Agent Security (SEAS) and SailPoint Browser Agent Security (SBAS), to expose AI agents, credentials, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. SailPoint said the identities are wrapped in active, real-time defenses that include inline prompt security that redacts sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) before it reaches LLMs, a centralized “kill-switch” to disable rogue agents, and automated ownership rules to ensure accountability for machine accounts. Chandra Gnanasambandam, EVP of Product and Chief Technology Officer at SailPoint, said, “SailPoint Identity Security represents a fundamental shift in how organizations must neutralize identity vulnerabilities in an AI-driven world. We are moving the industry beyond static compliance and into an active, continuous security loop. By unifying the ability to discover every identity, govern access lifecycle policies, and protect the enterprise through real-time risk remediation, we are giving security leaders the visibility and automation they need to confidently shut down modern attack vectors before they can be exploited.” Serena Tejani, Cybersecurity Partner, KPMG Canada, added, “Securing the modern enterprise is no longer just about managing employee access; it is also about governing the complex relationships between human owners and their automated AI agents. A real advantage of the SailPoint Identity Security solution is its ability to unify human and machine protection within a single, continuous loop. We are pleased to be an early alliance partner of the solution and with KPMG firms’ risk and security advisory services, we are helping organizations confidently scale their digital workforces, eliminate security blind spots, and transform identity from a point of vulnerability into a business-wide advantage.” The company said the SailPoint Identity Security solution with Agentic Fabric and Human Fabric is available now and that general-availability features of the Agentic Fabric can be explored online.
