Nord Security Products Complete SOC 2 Type II Certification With No Exceptions

Nord Security reported that four products in its business suite completed SOC 2 Type II certification with no audit exceptions. The certification work covered the organizations’ service providers’ data management controls under the SOC 2 framework.

The SOC 2 Type II audit assessed four core products listed by Nord Security. The company said the products concluded the audit with no exceptions and that NordLayer Browser completed the SOC 2 Type II certification for the first time. NordLayer Browser was launched in March 2026, according to the release.

In the release, Nord Security identified the scope as including NordLayer, described as a toggle-ready network security platform for businesses; NordLayer Browser, an enterprise browser; NordPass, a password manager; and NordStellar, described as a threat intelligence platform. The company also stated that SOC 2 is a security framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and that SOC 2 compliance is achieved through independent audits using five criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

“Security and data integrity are our highest priorities,” said Mantas Ulozas, chief business development officer at Nord Security business suite. “Successfully completing the SOC 2 Type II certification with no exceptions is a clear testament to our continuous dedication to ensuring that our products reflect our core commitment to quality and trustworthiness. We will continue to invest in rigorous compliance practices and ensure that every product we bring to market is held to the highest standards.”

Nord Security said it would continue compliance practices and apply SOC 2 Type II certification standards to products it brings to market.
