Coveron, an identity theft and scam protection service developed by Nord Security, completed SOC 2 Type II certification, according to the company’s release. The update focuses on the outcome of the audit process tied to how the service manages customer data.

Coveron became the fifth and final product within Nord Security’s product family to finish SOC 2 Type II audits during the current year, the release said. It described that the earlier audits for NordLayer, NordLayer Browser, NordPass, and NordLayer Intelligence by NordStellar concluded without exceptions, and that Coveron joined them with the same results.

In the release, SOC 2 was described as a security framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to ensure service providers securely manage customer data. The release added that Coveron concluded its audit with zero exceptions and zero recommendations.
