Mplify plans MWC26 demonstration of agentic connected experiences
Mplify planned a demonstration of agentic connected experiences at MWC26 Barcelona, scheduled for March 2–5, 2026, with contributions from DENSO and Tata Elxsi to illustrate applications for connected vehicles and autonomous systems.
The organization said the initiative marked a milestone in its work to advance Network as a Service (NaaS) as a foundation for AI-powered mobility and autonomous systems and that the effort framed the network as an active, intelligent participant in the connected experience.
The demonstration examined agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) combined with standardized network APIs to enable closed-loop orchestration across wireless and wired domains. It showed AI-driven agents requesting Quality on Demand via CAMARA APIs through the GSMA Open Gateway on Orange’s mobile network while invoking Mplify Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) APIs through Colt’s Network as a Service on private fixed-line breakouts, and included use cases such as vehicle coordination, immersive in-vehicle experiences, telemetry uploads, over-the-air updates, and drone-based live video, navigation, and command-and-control.
Mplify worked with Colt Technology Services, Orange, Google Cloud, and GSMA Open Gateway and planned live demonstrations and conference sessions at MWC26 Barcelona, including an Open Gateway Demo Partner Pod, a DevCon presentation, and an executive-level session titled “Connected Outcomes.”
“Connected experiences increasingly rely on on-demand NaaS for AI-driven networks that can reason, adapt, and act autonomously,” said Pascal Menezes, CTO, Mplify. “As connected services become increasingly intent-driven and autonomous, AI platforms play a critical role in enabling systems to interpret intent and act in real-time,” said Sridhar Gollapudi, Telco Market Lead, Google Cloud.
The companies planned live demonstrations and sessions at MWC26 Barcelona on March 2–5, 2026, as described in the announcement.
