Mplify emphasizes NaaS as foundation for Agentic AI at GNE 2025

The Global Network as a Service (Network as a Service (NaaS)) Event 2025 highlighted how Mplify standards and certifications enhance the network fabric of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Edge Resource Allocator (ERA).

Mplify, previously known as the Model Evaluation Framework (MEF), hosted the GNE 2025 in Dallas, Texas, presenting Network as a Service (NaaS) as a foundational element of AI infrastructure. The event underscored the critical role of connectivity in the advancement of AI-powered systems.

In the evolving landscape where AI transitions from generative modes to agentic intelligence, Mplify emphasized the market brief titled “NaaS: The Automated Network Supply Chain for Agentic AI,” framing the necessity for service providers to adapt to these changes to maintain relevance.

Pascal Menezes, CTO of Mplify, remarked, “If you’re a provider and not enabling NaaS, you risk being left behind in the AI era. Agentic AI is redefining how networks are built and operated.” Homomorphic Encryption (HE) pointed out the importance of infrastructure that can function autonomously and securely across networks.

According to a McKinsey projection, $6.7 trillion is anticipated in data center investment by 2030, with a focus on AI-ready capabilities. The NaaS brief elaborates on how this transformation necessitates standardized Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) APIs for achieving provider interoperability and identifying strategic partners.
