Media Advisory - Launch of the Artemis II mission: only opportunity for media accreditation.

Media representatives planning to cover the Artemis II mission launch at NASA's Kennedy Space Center must submit accreditation requests. The deadline for these requests is November 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET. This launch will see Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen participating in the first crewed mission around the Moon, with a planned launch attempt in early 2026.

Accreditation is required for attendance at pre-launch events and the launch itself. Media can find the necessary information and submit their requests through NASA's media portal.

The Artemis II mission will serve as the first flight test of the Space Launch System rocket and the Orion spacecraft. The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is involved in supporting Canada’s contributions to lunar exploration. Media interested in discussing Canada’s role or seeking additional information can contact the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Media Relations Office directly.
