KnowBe4 appears in Gartner Magic Quadrant for email security platforms
KnowBe4 was listed in Gartner's 2025 Magic Quadrant for Email Security Platforms for a second consecutive year, with the report citing the company's Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.
The company pointed to rising email threat volumes and its scale as context for the recognition; a KnowBe4 report cited a 15.2% increase in phishing email volume between March 1 and Sept. 30, 2025, versus the prior six months, and company materials noted use by more than 70,000 organizations worldwide.
KnowBe4 presented Cloud Email Security capabilities that included AI-enabled detection for inbound phishing and outbound data loss or exfiltration, an Agentic Detection Engine that used Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) models to address phishing, impersonation and account takeover risks, HRM+ platform integration with per-user behavioral analytics and threat intelligence, and continuous behavioral-based training delivered through real-time nudges.
The company referenced recent developments tied to its Cloud Email Security offering, including an integration with Microsoft Defender O365 and a Gartner Peer Insights Customer's Choice recognition for email security platforms, and it provided a link to download the Gartner Magic Quadrant report dated Distributed Edge Cluster (DEC). 1, 2025.
“We are honored to be recognized as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Email Security Platforms,” said Bryan Palma, CEO, KnowBe4. “Email communication remains the primary attack vector for organizations globally.
