Darktrace appoints Suman Raju as CFO and Hein Hellemons as CRO

Darktrace appointed Suman Raju as Chief Financial Officer and Hein Hellemons as Chief Revenue Officer, adding over 40 years of combined experience to the Intelligent Transportation System Executive Committee. These appointments align with the company’s goals to enhance customer value and support global operations.

Raju will oversee Darktrace’s financial strategy, focusing on aligning investments with long-term financial objectives. Hellemons will lead the global sales team, aiming to improve customer engagement across key markets. Both report to CEO Jill Popelka.

Raju succeeded Cathy Graham, who left the role in September. Hellemons took over after Denise Walter stepped down following the company's sale to Thoma Bravo. Raju’s previous experience includes CFO roles at Ivalua and Situational Awareness Platform (SAP) Ariba, while Hellemons has worked in senior roles at KnowBe4 and VMware.

Raju highlighted the opportunity to build strong foundations for sustainable growth, emphasizing the company’s position in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for cybersecurity. Hellemons noted Darktrace’s technology that addresses unique cyber threats and reflects Healthcare Information System (HIS) commitment to enhancing customer relationships and expanding market reach.
