Embed Security Introduces Agentic Security Platform
Embed Security introduced its agentic security platform aimed at enhancing cybersecurity operations by autonomously triaging and investigating alerts. This platform addresses the challenge of alert fatigue that hinders security teams' ability to respond effectively to real threats, resulting in a reduction of false positives by 90 percent.
According to R. Allen Darrah, Chief Information Officer at Spencer Fane, the use of Embed has saved approximately 155 analyst hours per month. “This has enabled our team to tackle more pressing issues, rather than chasing false positives,” he said. The platform provides detailed visibility into the reasoning behind its conclusions.
Seth Summersett, CEO of Embed Security, stated, “Embed solves the problem of tedious alert triage with its agentic security platform. Our AI agents, trained specifically on cybersecurity investigations, achieve a high accuracy rate, earning trust from users.” The platform's design is tool agnostic and modular, integrating seamlessly with various security tools.
Embed's approach employs proprietary iSteps™, which replicate expert analyst workflows to gather evidence, form critical questions, and reason over results, ensuring investigations align with established methodologies while maintaining transparency.
The platform consists of three primary modules: Embed email, which focuses on email security; Embed cloud, offering insights into cloud alerts; and Embed endpoint, designed to streamline alert handling for endpoints. Planned expansions into Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Network solutions are expected later this year. The solution is currently available in the U.S.
