Crucial launches DDR5 Pro Overclocking 6400 CL32 Gaming DRAM

Crucial®, a brand of Micron Technology, Inc., launched its Crucial DDR5 Pro Overclocking (OC) 6400 CL32 Gaming DRAM on October 21, 2025. Engineered for gamers, the new memory offers 32GB kits or 16GB single modules, featuring enhanced speed, reduced latency, and an updated heatspreader design.

Dinesh Bahal, corporate vice president and general manager of Micron’s Commercial Products Group, stated, “Gamers need memory that can keep up. Crucial DDR5 Pro OC 6400 CL32 is designed for those who want to win on both performance and style.” This memory provides an average frame rate boost of up to 25% in intensive games such as Watch Dogs: Legion and Red Dead Redemption.

With speeds up to 6400MT/s and a 37.5% reduction in latency compared to JEDEC-standard DDR5, this product supports stable overclocking through Intel® XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO™ when enabled in BIOS. The system compatibility extends to Intel® Core™ Ultra and AMD Ryzen™ 9000 Series processors, effectively catering to modern gaming and creative setups.

The new memory module features a camo-inspired heatspreader design, available in matte black or white, ensuring durability and cooling performance alongside a visually appealing aesthetic. A formal rollout began on October 21, with availability through various e-tailers and retailers.
