Capgemini signed an agreement to acquire Cloud4C
Capgemini signed an agreement to acquire Cloud4C, a provider of automation-driven managed services for hybrid cloud environments. The acquisition aims to boost Capgemini's presence in the cloud managed services market through enhanced technology and client engagement.
Founded in 2014, Cloud4C specializes in Artificial Intelligence (AI) operations and automation capabilities, helping businesses with technology migration and optimization. The company operates in 29 countries and has developed a reputation for delivering efficient cloud services that meet various industry needs.
The completion of this acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close in the coming months. Capgemini anticipates that this move will create new cross-selling opportunities for both its and Cloud4C's clients, leveraging the strengths of both organizations.
Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini, noted the mutual benefits of the acquisition, highlighting Cloud4C's capabilities in large-scale cloud transformations, which align with Capgemini's strategic aims in cloud services. The transaction will also enhance Capgeminiās Situational Awareness Platform (SAP) service offerings, particularly in SAP cloud management.
