This contract enables Nokia to deploy its energy-efficient AirScale RAN portfolio, supporting over three million subscribers. The company will supply advanced Habrok Massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) radios and Pandion remote radio heads to bolster network coverage across various scenarios.
The initiative incorporates AI-driven solutions for network management, specifically Nokia’s MantaRay self-organizing networks technology. This includes MantaRay AutoPilot for real-time adjustments, aimed at improving operational efficiency as TNN enhances its connectivity capabilities. Statements from company officials confirm the aim of delivering superior network experiences for end-users.
Nokia appointed Kristen Pressner as Chief People Officer, effective May 1, 2026. Pressner brings over 30 years of HR and talent management experience, previously serving at Roche Group. Her role will involve shaping Nokia's organizational culture and performance.
Justin Hotard, Nokia’s President and CEO, noted Pressner's experience will be pivotal in navigating a landscape increasingly focused on AI. Pressner expressed readiness to contribute to Nokia's growth, particularly in the AI sector.
A report by Capgemini found that enterprise adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) has increased fivefold in the past two years. As firms implement AI features, nearly 60% of executives anticipate AI functioning alongside human teams within a year.
According to the report, 30% of organizations are currently scaling GenAI, up from 6% in 2023. It revealed that 93% of firms are adopting GenAI across various industries, including telecom and aerospace.
Franck Greverie from Capgemini highlighted that rapid adoption does not guarantee successful large-scale deployment. The report emphasized the necessity for effective governance and clarified expectations regarding costs associated with AI initiatives.
