CalAmp names Maurizio Iperti as CEO

CalAmp named Maurizio Iperti as chief executive officer, succeeding Chris Adams, and disclosed its 2025 financial and operational results in the announcement.

For calendar year 2025, CalAmp reported total revenue growth year-over-year and 15% revenue growth in Cross-Cluster Scheduler (CCS); it generated $41 million of free cash flow, fully retired all outstanding debt, and entered 2026 with a year-end cash balance of $64 million. CalAmp earned Caterpillar’s Supplier Excellence Certification for the second consecutive year and delivered 100 percent cloud uptime during peak season for a global transportation & logistics customer for the third consecutive year.

The company described its offerings as device-enabled software and a cloud platform used to monitor, track, and protect assets, reporting millions of active edge devices and over 200 approved or pending patents; its Connected Car Solutions business unit included LoJack International and Tracker Network (UK).

CalAmp expanded its partnership in the United Kingdom with Robotic Arm Controller (RAC) to support RAC Connected Telematics, adding enhanced fleet management and AI-enabled video capabilities for commercial fleets. Maurizio Iperti had served 18 years at CalAmp, recently as president of the Connected Car Solutions business unit, and had worked with OEMs, enterprises, dealers, fleets, and public agencies that use connected vehicle technology for fleet management, asset protection, stolen vehicle recovery, and public safety operations.

The company said it planned to increase investments in hardware, software and services.
