Bitsight said it provided agentic Enterprise access that combines threat intelligence with continuous exposure monitoring across the supply chain, aiming to support risk and operations teams in responding to cyber events. The company framed the change around access to contextual risk information that can be used in AI workflows.
Bitsight linked the update to third-party-originating cybersecurity breaches and cited Gartner’s view that cybersecurity leaders needed to move from prevention-only approaches toward quicker detection and impact minimization. It also described a separation between security operations and third-party risk teams, including limits in cross-supply-chain visibility and threat intelligence.
According to the company, the platform connects exposure monitoring with active threat intelligence and business context. It said the new capabilities included Bitsight Beacon, which continuously monitors critical vendors for exposure and vulnerabilities, malicious activity, intrusion, stolen credentials, and compromise. Bitsight also said it used Bitsight Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic capabilities to bring its continuously updated intelligence into AI-enabled workflows.
Bitsight said it made Beacon generally available and described MCP and agents as ways to manage alert volumes without additional manual analysis. In addition, it reported that more than 400 customers signed up for early access to the new agentic capabilities within one month. “AI is upending the threat landscape,” said John Clancy, CEO of Bitsight. “As models advance, every connection across the supply chain becomes a potential path for business disruption.
